I am a lifelong book enthusiast and aim to excite the imagination of my audience to spark the joy of reading.

I LOVE SPEAKING TO STUDENTS AND ENCOURAGING THEM TO READ PICTURE BOOKS, GRAPHIC NOVELS, & create their own stories.

As an author and illustrator I connect with student writers and artists. I invite them into my journey and share my non-linear path to art and books. My goal is to inspire a love of reading and show them that hard work yields great results.

STORYTIME & DRAWING DEMO

I will present an interactive storytime along with a short presentation about her path to becoming an artist and author. It will culminate with a drawing demo that kids can join. Perfect for K-3.

GRAPHIC NOVELS

An interactive graphic novel reading along with a presentation on how an idea becomes a book and the process of making a graphic novel from sketches to finish. Great for all ages.

I also offer a comics writing workshop perfect for middle and high school.

ART & JOY AS RESISTANCE

Nidhi will speak and share her unconventional path as an Indian-American woman to art and comics. She will share how making art and embracing joy has lead her to create art that connects and inspires. Great for upper grades, keynotes and colleges.
